Emily Ripka

I have always had a passion to learn new things and helping others do the same. I received my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, but during my time at university, I realized I loved the learning atmosphere so much that I wanted to make a career out of it. So instead of heading to a corporate job, I went on to get my master’s degree in Postsecondary Education: Student Affairs. This degree specifically focuses on advising, coaching, and counseling adult learners and helping adult learners accomplish their goals while becoming their best selves possible. Now, I get to use these skills to help Techionistas reach their professional goals through career skill training.

Outside of work, you can find me continuing my passion of being a lifelong learner in all of my hobbies including baking, crafting, and travel. I believe there is never a shortage of new things to learn or skills to acquire, even if it is as small as learning how to bake a new pastry or attempt a new craft skill!
