I strongly believe in lifelong learning. Not just out of necessity, but mostly because it can be a lot of fun, and it will open doors for you. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Communication, a master’s degree in Sustainability Management, but I also enjoy studying languages, learning to garden, and reading non-fiction books on, amongst other things, career and self development. 

At Techionista Academy, I found a community with whom I can share my love for learning. Here, we use education as a tool to increase gender diversity within the IT sector. How do we do that? By empowering women with the skills they need to find a job in data. As Manager of the Soft Skill Program, I contribute to this mission by setting up and maintaining a program that has already supported over 200 talented women in their career development and job search. 

During the program, which we named the career skill program, we dive into topics ranging from personality and mindset to practical topics such as applying for a job and negotiating. These skills form the foundation for a successful job search and the start of your new career in IT.
