Techionista says goodbye.

After an 8-year journey filled with an incredible number of Techionista courses, job fairs, events, and media appearances. After educating more than 1000 Techionista talents, hundreds of whom are now successfully working in the world of Data & AI, we have decided to draw it to a close.

Our journey began with a mission to enrich (primarily) women with IT and tech skills, to prepare them for future-proof jobs, and to strive for more (gender) diversity and inclusion in the IT job market. We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved over the past years.

But the market dynamics have changed. The target group we have traditionally served: amazing female talents with impressive resumes looking for a career switch, is less prevalent in this market. Furthermore, education is increasingly becoming cheaper and sometimes even free, partly due to the rise of AI. We think this is fantastic: it means a democratization of Data & AI knowledge. But it also simply means: less business for us.

A deep bow to all the Techionista talents we have met over the years. Thank you for your trust in us and for the inspiration you provide to others. Through you, Techionista will live on for a long time.

Many thanks to our numerous partners, and particularly to Microsoft, which stood by our side for eight years.

Finally, endless thanks to our amazing team members Sanne van Egmond, Emily Ripka, Gya Sokarijo, and Sima Soy. It was an honor to work with you on our mission.

We look back with pride and gratitude on a wonderful and impactful adventure.
